Master calligraphy teacher demonstrates how to use shodo brushes and ink. Sessions are held in a luxurious Tokyo private home.

Experience the art of shodo in an intimate, private setting with an award-winning calligraphy master in her elegant Tokyo home. Guided step-by-step, you'll write your name in traditional kanji on a handsome display panel to take home. Each 90-minute session is limited to six guests. To avoid ink stains, casual clothing and short sleeves are recommended.

A ¥3,000 refundable booking fee is required for each person. A participation fee of ¥15,000 is collected on the day of the event for materials, instruction, and Japanese tea and sweets.
